LANCASTER, Calif. - JetHawks right-hander Garrett Schilling was named the California League Pitcher of the Week for the week of June 3-9, the California League announced Monday.

Schilling was honored for his start in the JetHawks 3-1 win on the road against first-place Rancho Cucamonga on June 5. The Michigan native tied a career-high with 10 strikeouts over six-scoreless innings. He gave up three hits and walked only one batter.

Schilling is the first JetHawk to be named Pitcher of the Week since right-hander Jesus Tinoco for the week of August 14-20, 2017.

Schilling is scheduled to make his next start tonight (Monday) in Lake Elsinore. He owns a 2.40 ERA over his last three starts.
