Lancaster JetHawks Group Sales Manager

Full-Time Job Opportunity - Start Date January 7, 2019

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Lancaster JetHawks are looking for an experienced sales person to help lead our Group Sales efforts for the 2019 season and beyond. As one of the leading teams in the California League, the JetHawks are looking for a high energy MiLB professional to both produce individual sales results while also overseeing the success and efficiency of our Group Sales and Hospitality business.

Essential Functions:

1. The desire and work ethic to succeed in Group Ticket Sales for the Lancaster JetHawks

2. Sell new Group and Hospitality ticket packages through cold-calls, face to face meetings, attending community functions/networking events, etc.

3. Focused sales effort on selling directly to local businesses and charitable organizations

4. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment; while demonstrating the desire to be self-motivated and accountable for daily productivity

5. Possess exceptional customer service and organizational skills in order to assure success within the department while also exceeding the expectations of our groups visiting the ballpark

6. Serve as an integral part of the staff on Gameday's assisting in multiple areas of the operation (exact Gameday duties - TBD)

7. Staff ticket sales tables at outside events as needed

8. Develop relationships with current clients for referral leads.

9. Provide creative ideas and strategies at weekly staff meetings to help grow the organization via sales programs, promotions, theme nights, etc.

10. Completion of daily and weekly sales effort reports.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. College degree (or equivalent work experience)

2. 3 years of sales experience within Minor League Baseball preferred

3. Experience and a desire to excel in sales.

4. Ability to work with aggressive sales goals and expectations in a fast-paced environment.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and associated products. Familiarity with ticketing systems a plus

6. Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework.

7. Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.

8. Strong planning and organizational skills.

9. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.

10. Ability to maintain a professional business image.

11. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Full-Time Job Opportunity - Start Date January 7, 2019

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Lancaster JetHawks are seeking a hard-working, motivated Sales Professional to join their full-time sales staff. This individual will actively prospect and sell season tickets, mini plans and all group/hospitality packages for the Lancaster JetHawks. The ideal candidate will have the passion and drive to excel in a competitive environment with the ultimate goal of helping grow one of the California League's most successful franchises.

Essential Functions:

1. The desire and work ethic to succeed in Ticket Sales for the Lancaster JetHawks

2. Sell new season tickets, mini plans and group ticket packages through cold-calls, face to face meetings, attending community functions/networking events, etc.

Lancaster JetHawks Office Manager/Receptionist

Seasonal Job Opportunity - Start Date January 7, 2019

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Lancaster JetHawks have an immediate opening for an Office Manager/Receptionist. This is a seasonal position from January 7, 2019-September 20, 2019 with an hourly wage of $13/hour. The typical work schedule will be Monday-Friday from 9a-5p (35 hours/week), with some possible adjustment of hours on game days.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Front Desk duties - answering and directing incoming phone calls, ensuring front desk area is organized at all times

• Serve as the initial point of contact for guests entering the JetHawks office

• Customer Service - provide a high level of customer service at all times to customers in the office as well as over the phone

• Organize/coordinate daily incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

• Assist with various data entry and database projects as needed

• Overall organization / cleanliness of front office area

• Coordinate office supply orders amongst front office staff

• Assist GM/AGM with various administrative duties

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will possess a high energy, positive attitude with the ability to work directly with and communicate effectively with JetHawks fans both in person and over the phone, as well as the Front Office Staff. This person should have a strong background in customer service. This candidate should show very good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Must have the willingness to help the organization in all areas as needed.
