August 29, 2016

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announce that pitcher Jordan Romano has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List retroactive to August 27th, with blue-chip pitching prospect T.J. Zeuch transferred from Short-Season A Vancouver in a corresponding move.

The 6-foot-7, 21-year-old Zeuch (pronounced "Zoyk") was the Toronto Blue Jays' top pick in the June draft, drafted 21st overall from the University of Pittsburgh, and is ranked the #3 pitching prospect and #8 overall prospect in the Blue Jays' organization by MLB Pipeline. Zeuch is scheduled to start tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Lugnuts' series finale at Lake County.

With Zeuch's arrival, the Lugnuts have now added the Blue Jays' 2016 1st-round, 2nd-round, 4th-round and 5th-round draft picks within the last three days.
