LANSING, Mich. – The scheduled series opener between the Lansing Lugnuts (7-14) and archrival West Michigan Whitecaps (8-13) at Jackson® Field™ was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Wednesday as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m.

It is the fifth consecutive series to open the season that the Lugnuts have had a postponement and a doubleheader.

Fans possessing tickets to Tuesday’s contest are able to exchange them in person at the Jackson® Field™ box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to a future Lugnuts home game this season.The Lugnuts are home for 12 games in a 12-day span beginning Wednesday, playing six against West Michigan, enjoying a day off on Monday, May 9, and then welcoming the Dayton Dragons for a six-game series league wide off day on Monday before traveling to Lake County for a six-game series through Sunday, May 15.
