Season's final multi-series homestand is this week

The first-place Lehigh Valley IronPigs return home Monday, August 13 for a seven-game homestand that features a Phillie Phanatic visit, Renew Your Vows ceremony Pirate & Princess training sessions and two fireworks displays.

The first-place Lehigh Valley IronPigs return home Monday, August 13 for a seven-game homestand that features a Phillie Phanatic visit, Renew Your Vows ceremony Pirate & Princess training sessions and two fireworks displays.

The homestand begins Monday at 7:05 p.m. when the world's most famous mascot pays a visit to Coca-Cola Park. The Phillie Phanatic's appearance is presented by AARP. Prior to the game, 1,500 children 17-and-under will receive a Steve Carlton Pitch Grip Baseball courtesy St. Luke's University Health Network. Monday is also a TD Bank Dog Day featuring $1 Berks hot dogs and the chance to bring your favorite four-legged friend to Coca-Cola Park.
Wednesday will be Strike Out Cancer Night at Coca-Cola Park as the team will attempt to raise more than $10,000 for local non-profits. Thursday is Renew Your Vows Night and will be the regular season's final extended pre-game happy hour (5-7 p.m.) with $1 hot dogs and $2 domestic drafts. Prior to the game, married couples will be able to participate in an on-field wedding vow renewal ceremony. Any married couple with tickets can sign up before 5:30 on gameday, but to sign up in advance, please contact Zach at [email protected]. Couples will check in before 5:45 p.m. and the ceremony starts at approx. 6:20 p.m. One lucky couple will receive a second honeymoon - a trip for two to Myrtle Beach!
On Saturday, the Pigs will host Pirate & Princess Night that features two pre-game special events ahead of their 6:35 p.m. contest. A Princess Tea Party (with two real princesses!) will be held from 5:15-5:45 p.m. on the PNC Club Level. Pirate Training will take place on the field under the watch of two swashbuckling pirates from 5:30-6 p.m. Participants must have a special ticket for either session. Tickets are available online or at the Coca-Cola Park ticket office. If you already have a ticket and would like to upgrade, please contact the Coca-Cola Park ticket office at (610) 841-PIGS (7447).
The Pigs close the homestand with Football and Cheer Day on Sunday, August 19. Prior to the game, 1,500 kids 17 and under will receive a Philly Special youth replica jersey presented by Coca-Cola. Following the game will be postgame Kids Run the Bases presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.
