The IronPigs rallied back from seven runs down to force extras against the Bisons at Coca-Cola Park. Matt McBride completed the comeback with a walk-off two-run double to cap off a four-run bottom of the tenth inning.

Tom Eshelman was tagged for four unearned runs in the top of the first inning that put the Pigs in the hole in the first. The Bisons would keep the offense going in the top of the second inning by scoring four runs off of Eshelman to go up 7-0. Eshelman would settle in from there, as he would retire the next ten hitters to work into the sixth inning. Eshelman in total was charged with four earned runs in 5 2/3 innings.
Lehigh Valley did crack the scoreboard against starter Matt Tracy in the bottom of the third inning. An RBI double by Nick Rickles and a sacrifice-fly by Collin Cowgill plated the first two runs for the Pigs. They would add one more in the bottom of the sixth inning when Dylan Cozens blasted a solo home run to make it 7-3. Cozens has now homered in three straight ballgames for the IronPigs dating back to May 30.
The Pigs battled back into the ballgame with a four-run bottom of the eighth inning. McBride, who finished the game with three hits got the rally going with a homer in the bottom of the eighth. Dean Anna then brought Rickles home on a sacrifice fly to make it 10-6. They would cut into the lead even more with a two-run blast by Cowgill, who has now homered in four consecutive games.
Trailing by two heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pigs needed a pair of runs to complete the rally. After Zach Green worked a walk, Rickles sent a two-out opposite field home run over the right-field wall to complete the comeback and tie the game at 10. The Pigs scored eight runs in the final four innings to force their seventh straight home extra-inning game.
Buffalo regained the lead in the top of the tenth against Tom Windle (8-3), after scoring the placed runner on a RBI ground out to make it 11-10. Danny Janson sent a two-run home run into the Pig Pen in left to make it 13-10. After scoring their placed runner Dean Anna, the Pigs loaded the bases against Conor Fisk (2-3). A sacrifice fly by Green made it 13-12 with runners on the corners. McBride completed the comeback and walked the Pigs off with a two-run, game winning double to complete a four-run bottom of the 10th.
The Pigs and Bisons resume their four game set tomorrow at 6:35 p.m. Stick around after the game for Country Music Fireworks presented by Labatt Blue.
