IronPigs Charities introduce GameOn! Lehigh Valley Youth Sports Alliance

GameOn! Youth Sports Alliance will bring education, training and motivation to local youth coaches

(Allentown, Pa) - IronPigs Charities in partnership with the Lehigh Valley Health Network, have announced the implementation of GameOn! Lehigh Valley Youth Sports Alliance - an alliance that is made up of Lehigh Valley youth coaches of middle school age or younger athletes in the following sports: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, softball, football and soccer.
IronPigs Charities and the Lehigh Valley Health Network are partnering with the National Alliance of Youth Sports and The Positive Coaching Alliance to bring education, training, and motivation to local youth coaches throughout Northampton, Lehigh and neighboring counties, while providing an opportunity for them to meet, share best practices and build a network.
Three sessions for each sport will be held at Coca-Cola Park once a month at no cost. The first three sessions will be for basketball and cheerleading coaches:

Sunday, October 13 from 4:30-7:30pm: Coaching Youth Sports General coaching tips and advice
Sunday, November 3 from 4:30-7:30pm: Sport Specific Training Drills, Skills & Fundamentals
Sunday, December 15 from 4:30-7:00pm: Double Goal Coach Winning AND using sports to teach life lessons

By attending these seminars, coaches will also have an opportunity to become a member of the National Alliance of Youth Sports at a special discounted price of $16 for the year (regularly $20). By joining NAYS, coaches will receive:
