WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - With the start of the 2018 season fast approaching, the Lexington Legends invite all members of the media to Media Day on April 3 at 11 a.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, former Congressman Ben Chandler of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky and Amy Barkley of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids will be in attendance to announce a change in the tobacco policy at Whitaker Bank Ballpark this season. Legends President/CEO Andy Shea will also speak at the event. Legends Manager Scott Thorman and players will be available for interviews with the media before they begin practice.
All media members needing a press pass will need to email Emma Tiedemann (firstname.lastname@example.org) in order to have one for the season. New for 2018, all media receiving a press pass will be required to sign a new MiLB agreement (attached). That document can be emailed or brought to the event. The Legends must have a signed agreement on file for each media member or they will not receive their pass. Media members will be able to pick up 2018 press passes at Media Day or at Will Call the day of the first game they attend.
For more information on Media Day, please contact Emma Tiedemann at 859-422-7859 or email@example.com.
