Lookouts Defeat Biscuits 4-3

On Saturday night, at AT&T Field, the Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Montgomery Biscuits by a score of 4-3.
Montgomery struck first in the top of the first inning, when Justin Williams ripped an RBI double to right field, which allowed both Nathan Lukes and Jake Cronenworth to score, making the score 2-0 in favor of Montgomery.
<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Chattanooga got on the board in the bottom of the sixth inning after LaMonte Wade Jr sent a two-run light tower power homer over the right field wall to tie the game 2-2.
<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Chattanooga earned their first lead in the bottom of the eighth inning via a double from Wade, making the score 3-2 in favor of the Lookouts. The Lookouts added another insurance run in the bottom of the eighth courtesy of a Max Murphy RBI line drive single to right field. Wade score on the single from Murphy.
The Biscuits made things interesting in the top of the ninth inning as they fell just one run shy of tying the game. Williams again produced an RBI for the Biscuits after slashing a line drive to center field, allowing Nick Ciuffo to score, making the score 3-4.
Lookouts relief pitcher, Todd Van Steensel (5-3, 1.40), earned the win for the Lookouts while <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Montgomery reliever, Ryan Askew (0-1, 9.00), suffered the loss. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Chattanooga's Nick Anderson earned his ninth save of the season.
Game three between the Lookouts and the Biscuits will take place at AT&T Field on Sunday, September 3rd at 6:15 p.m. RHP, Randy LeBlanc (4-4, 4.31) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts. <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Montgomery will elect to send left-hander, Logan Darnell (5-2, 3.93) to the mound to start the game.
