TWO DOWN ONE TO GO FOR TITLE

September 8, 2017

[Empty Body]

The Lookouts inched one game closer to a co-championship of the Southern League with a 2-0 win over Montgomery. Felix Jorge would work six shutout innings for the win and the bullpen slammed the door on the door with perfect pitching from Todd VanSteensel and Gabirel Moya. With one out in the fourth inning Jon Rodriguez hit a single to left field. TJ White would blast an 0-1 pitch over the railroad tracks outside the stadium for all the runs the pitching would need. Saturday night the two teams meet as the Lookouts work to secure the North division side of the championship. Adalberto Mejía starts for the Nooga Nine while Logan Darnell throws for Mongomery. Hear the game at 7:00 EDT on The Lake 98.1 and at MiLB.com.
