GoGreat.com to Sponsor 2017 All-Star Game

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons are pleased to announce a partnership with GoGreat.com as the presenting sponsor of the 2017 Midwest League All-Star Game in Midland on June 19-20 at Dow Diamond. The MWL All-Star Game presented by GoGreat.com will be held on Tuesday, June 20, while other festivities will include the Midwest League Home Run Derby and All-Star Tailgate, both of which will be held on Monday, June 19.

"We're excited to again be joining the Great Lakes Loons in showcasing our region and all that Midland and Dow Diamond have to offer to so many visitors," Go Great Lakes Bay CEO and travel trailblazer Annette Rummel said. "We're always looking to contribute to overnight stays in the region and we're here to share the things we love about this region."

Dow Chemical, partners with the Great Lakes Loons since 2006, will also serve as a supporting sponsor for the two-day showcase.

The events will begin Monday afternoon with the Midwest League All-Star Tailgate on the front lawn of Dow Diamond. Kid's activities will be available for the young Loons fan and families to enjoy, while a tent will be set up where fans ages 21 and older can purchase beer. There will be live music performed to entertain fans leading up to the 2017 Midwest League Home Run Derby.

The home run derby will take place on Monday, June 19, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets for the home run derby will be $7 for lawn seats and $10 for box seats. After the home derby concludes, there will be more live music and entertainment on the front lawn.

The 2017 Midwest League All-Star Game presented by GoGreat.com will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for the all-star game will be $10 for lawn seats and $16 for box seats.

More information and details regarding the festivities surrounding the 2017 #MWLASG will be announced as they're finalized in the months prior to the event.

Single game tickets for the 2017 season will go on sale March 1. Fans will have the chance to purchase tickets to Opening Day, the Midwest League Home Run Derby, the Midwest League All-Star Game presented by GoGreat.com and any of the 70 home games featuring the reigning Midwest League Champions.
