Loons Announce 2014 Season Schedule

$1 Family Feasts Nights return every Thursday in 2014

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons are pleased to announce the team's schedule for the upcoming 2014 season, which features 12 $1 Family Feast Nights, presented by Chemical Bank, 13 Fireworks Loontaculars, powered by Dow Corning, and 11 weekends of Loons baseball.

The Loons will open their eighth season Thursday, April 3, with the first game of a four-game road series at the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The team will play a total of 140 baseball games throughout the summer, 70 on the road and 70 at Dow Diamond, with the season concluding on Labor Day, September 1, at West Michigan.

The Loons will have 13 home games in April, 14 in May, 16 in June, 15 in July and 12 in August. The always-popular $1 Family Feast Nights, presented by Chemical Bank, will return to Dow Diamond for every Thursday home game. On these 12 dates, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs, Better Made Potato Chips, 16 oz. Coke products and ice cream sandwiches throughout the game.

Loons game times at Dow Diamond will remain mostly unchanged for 2014. As usual, Monday through Saturday games in April will begin at 6:05 p.m., before moving to 7:05 p.m. for the remainder of the season. Sunday home games will start at 3:05 p.m. There will be two School Kids Day games this season, May 7 and May 14, each scheduled to start at 10:35 a.m.

The Loons ticket staff is currently taking orders for season ticket and mini-packages for all home games, as well as group reservations for Dow Diamond's group venues.

The Loon Loft team store is currently closed for the offseason, but will reopen for the holidays December 16 through December 20. The store, located at Dow Diamond, will be open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those dates. Fans can also purchase Loons gear or team gift cards anytime on Loons.com.
