Nashville, Tenn. – Four pitchers combined to limit the Nashville Sounds to one unearned run, while five Bats recorded multi-hit efforts en route to a 17-hit explosion that helped the Louisville Bats cruise to an 11-1 win inside First Horizon Park on Friday night. Jose Barrero spearheaded the charge with his fourth homer and second consecutive three-hit game.

Each of the Bats' nine starters reached safety with all but one collecting at least one hit. Five Bats contributed multi-hit efforts with Barrero, Max Schrock, TJ Friedl, and Michael De Leon each registered three-hits apiece, and Alfredo Rodriguez adding a pair of singles. Barrero plated three runs as well, and has now combined for 15 RBI in 14 games.

Starter Ashton Goudeau, spotted a hefty lead, fanned three and finished with one unearned run on two hits and three walks over 4.0 innings. Brandon Finnegan (1.0ip), Carson Fulmer (2.0ip) and Dauri Moreta (2.0ip) then combined to two-hit Nashville over 5.0 scoreless frames of relief.

The fifth of the six-game set is scheduled for Saturday night at 8:05 p.m. in Nashville. Louisville is expected to hand the ball to top prospect Hunter Greene (1-3, 5.24), while Nashville has not yet announced a starter.
