LOUISVILLE, KY – Daz Cameron went 4-for-5 with a homer, double and four RBIs to lead the Toledo Mud Hens to a 6-2 win over the Louisville Bats in a sloppy series finale Sunday afternoon at Louisville Slugger Field. The two teams combined for six errors over the first four innings of the game, with Louisville committing five miscues and Toledo recording one error.

[BOX SCORE]

Cameron homered in the third, played two more runs with a single in the sixth and drove home a final runner with an RBI double in the eighth inning to pace his standout performance against the Bats.

Opposing starter Elvin Rodriguez cruised to the win with 5.0 shutout innings and five strikeouts.

The Bats offense finally pushed across their first run in the sixth when Lorenzo Cedrola homered to left with a solo shot. Two innings later, he finished off his two-hit effort with a single into center that plated Juniel Querecuto for Louisville’s final run of the game.

Cedrola now has a team-high 16 multi-hit efforts in 32 games this season.

Reds rehabber Joey Votto reached with a walk in the fourth inning but otherwise was hitless in three at-bats.

The Bats will now enjoy a day off Monday before beginning a six-game series in Nashville against the Sounds. First pitch Tuesday is set for 7:35 p.m. ET at First Horizon Park.
