LOUISVILLE, KY – Mike Minor spun 3.0 scoreless innings in a rehab start and Aristides Aquino homered for the second straight game, but the Toledo Mud Hens rallied with a three-run fifth inning to down the Louisville Bats 8-1 Tuesday night at Louisville Slugger Field.

[BOX SCORE]

Aquino homered for the second straight game with a 400-plus foot solo shot in the bottom of the third inning. “The Punisher” now owns the longest active on-base streak in the International League, reaching safely in each of his last 20 games since late in the 2019 season.

Toledo broke through in the fifth when Josh Lester doubled in a run and Dustin Garneau deposited a mammoth two-run homer over the left-field fence.

Lester then added a solo shot of his own in the seventh and the Mud Hens added four runs in the ninth to put the game away.

The two teams will continue their six-game series Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field. RHP Ben Lively (0-3, 5.19) is scheduled to get the ball for the Bat
