Friday tilt in Cedar Rapids Postponed

Doubleheader to be played Saturday

Clinton, IA - Friday night's game between the Clinton LumberKings and Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed. Temperatures were projected to be below freezing at the scheduled first pitch time of 6:35 PM CT. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday, April 5, at Perfect Game Field. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 2:05 PM. 

The game one pitching matchup will feature Clinton left-hander Eddie Campbell against Cedar Rapids southpaw Randy Rosario. In game two, the LumberKings will send right-hander Carlos Misell to the mound for his first-ever professional start against Kernels right-hander Ryan Eades.
