Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings are pleased to announce a new partnership with WCCI 100.3 FM as the new home for LumberKings baseball. All 140 games, plus any additional playoff games, will be broadcast on WCCI 100.3 FM and online at www.wcciradio.com and www.lumberkings.com.
"We're thrilled to have our radio broadcasts on WCCI 100.3 FM," said LumberKings General Manager Ted Tornow. "Having the partnership with WCCI allows us to reach a new audience we haven't quite tapped into yet."
The three-year agreement with the Savanna-based station will expand coverage from Maquoketa to Dixon and from Galena to Port Byron.
"We are excited to offer professional baseball to our listeners in Northwest Illinois, Eastern Iowa, Southern Wisconsin and worldwide on the internet. The passion and commitment by LumberKings General Manager Ted Tornow and Director of Broadcasting Chad Seely in offering a professional product was key in our decision to add the LumberKings to our sports program lineup," said WCCI General Manager Beaver Miller.
The "Voice of LumberKings Baseball" remains a familiar one. Chad Seely, who has been with the LumberKings since the start of 2012, will broadcast all 140 games in 2014.
