Series Finale Washed Away

Game will not be made up

CLINTON, IA (May 10, 2017) - The Clinton LumberKings and Lansing Lugnuts series finale for Wednesday afternoon has been rained out. The LumberKings (11-19), were scheduled to play game three of a three game series with the Lugnuts (18-12) before rain washed away the final game of the series.

Since this was Lansing's only trip to Clinton this season the game will not be made up. The LumberKings hav enow lost three games due to rain this season.

The Lugnuts took the first two games of the series which will be the only two games played between the two teams during the 2017 regular season.

All fans with a ticket to Wednesday night's game can exchange their ticket stub to any future LumberKings games during the 2017 regular season, subject to availability. 


The LumberKings will continue their home stand by welcoming in the Great Lakes Loons for a three game series begining on Thursday night. First pitch on Thursday is slated for 6:30 PM with the pregame show, on 100.3 FM WCCI, beginning at 6:15 PM, Erik Oas will be on the call.
