Hillcats and Blue Rocks postponed on Monday

Wilmington, Del. - Today's game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to inclement weather and field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Tuesday, June 11.First pitch for Game One of the twin bill is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.

Wilmington, Del. - Today's game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to inclement weather and field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Tuesday, June 11.
First pitch for Game One of the twin bill is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. There will be approximately 30 minutes between games and both contests will be seven innings in length.

Lynchburg will send left-hander Juan Hillman  (3-5, 2.90) to the mound in the first game and righty Matt Solter  (4-1, 3.12) will toe the slab in Game Two. Wilmington will counter with lefty Rito Lugo (0-1, 2.34) in the first game, followed by southpaw Daniel Tillo (4-5, 4.74) in the second contest.
Max Gun will be on the air at 4:55 p.m. with the Hillcats pre-game show on TuneIn Radio and the Radio434 App.   
The Hillcats will return home to face the Wilmington Blue Rocks on Thursday, June 13 for a four-game series, the final series of the season's first half. Weekend highlights include Thirsty Thursday, Fantastic Friday, Sparkling Saturday and Sandlot Sunday. Friday's game will feature a post-game fireworks show presented by Centra while Saturday's post-game fireworks show will be presented by Hometown Sales & Leasing Lynchburg & Madison Heights.
