Friday marks the third consecutive day that the Hillcats have been affected by rain. Wednesday's game against Frederick was rained out, and the second game of Thursday's double-header was also washed out.
Friday's Paint the Park Purple Night, sponsored by Gastroenterology Associates of Central VA, will be rescheduled for Saturday, June 23, when the Hillcats host the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at 6 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Paint the Park Purple t-shirt upon entry to the ballpark. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

Tickets to tonight's game may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any 2018 regular season home game, except for July 4th, subject to availability.

The Hillcats are back in action on Saturday at 6 p.m. against Potomac. It will be Gratefully Dead Christmas Night at City Stadium, featuring a pre-game cover band performance beginning at 4:30 p.m. Players will wear Gratefully Dead Christmas-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.
