Hillcats playoff tickets on sale now, club creates special post-season concession deals

Lynchburg, Va. - The Lynchburg Hillcats are excited to announce a special deal for the 2018 postseason. In the spirit of the the Hillcats' quest for two straight Carolina League Championships, all playoff tickets will be just $2. In addition, the Hillcats will offer $2 domestic beers and $2 hot dogs, as part of the club's Back-$2-Back playoff special.

"Our fans have been great all season long and we want to thank them for their continued support by offering this unique and exciting postseason package," said Hillcats President Chris Jones. "We hope that our fans will continue to pack City Stadium and help push this team all the way to a second straight championship."
The Hillcats are currently in first place in the Carolina League North Division, five games up on the Wilmington Blue Rocks with 14 games remaining in the regular season. Should Lynchburg clinch, the HIllcats would take on the Potomac Nationals, A-Adv. affiliate of the Washington Nationals, who won the first half title. The home games in the Divisional Round would be on September 5 and 6 at City Stadium, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. on both nights, along with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m. 
The Back-$2-Back playoff deal will remain in place for the Championship Series, in which the Hillcats have the opportunity of hosting games on September 13-15.
Lynchburg continues their homestand on Tuesday, August 21, against the Potomac Nationals at 6:30 p.m. It will be 2Fur Tuesday at City Stadium, featuring buy-one-get-one tickets and $2 concessions deals.

The Lynchburg Hillcats are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. The Hillcats are eight-time Carolina League Champions, having most recently won the Mills Cup Championship in 2017.
