PEARL, MS -- Trustmark's Atlanta Braves Exhibition Game presented by Trustmark Bank, the Mississippi Army National Guard and Mississippi Development Authority Tourism Division is slated for Saturday, March 30. The sold out contest between the Atlanta Braves and the Braves' Future Stars gets under way at 2:05 PM.
Gates open at 11:00 AM. Fans are encouraged to come early and carpool if possible. Local fans are also advised to pick up their tickets from Will Call prior to Saturday, March 30. The Trustmark Park Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For fans that can't make it during the work week, the ticket office is also open Saturday, March 23 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Fans can watch both teams take batting practice prior to the game. The Future Stars are scheduled to take the field at 11:35 AM and the Atlanta Braves take the field at 12:25 PM. Select players will participate in on-field interviews as part of pregame festivities. First pitch is scheduled for 2:05 PM following full team introductions.
Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted inside Trustmark Park. Fans with general admission tickets may bring blankets to sit on the grass berm. Folding chairs are not allowed.
The Mississippi Braves is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since making the move from Greenville, SC, in 2005, over 70 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues. The M-Braves have made postseason play twice and went on to win the Southern League Championship in 2008. The 2013 season starts Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 PM against the Mobile BayBears.
