M-Braves, Generals Doubleheader Postponed

Games will be made up when Generals visit Mississippi in August

JACKSON, TN -- Monday morning's doubleheader between the Mississippi Braves and the Jackson Generals was postponed due to unplayable field conditions. 

The M-Braves do not return to Jackson this season, but the games will be made up as part of two doubleheaders at Trustmark Park in August. The first doubleheader is scheduled for Thursday, August 8 at 5:00 PM. The second is slated for Saturday, August 10 at 5:00 PM. Gates open at 4:30 PM both days.  

The M-Braves return to Trustmark Park for a 10-game homestand Tuesday, July 23 through Thursday, August 1. In game one of a five-game series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, right-hander Aaron Northcraft (3-8, 4.17) counters Pensacola righty Daniel Renken (3-7, 3.77). Gates open at 6:00 PM. First pitch is set for 7:00 PM.
