MiLB clubs are vital components of their communities because they provide affordable, family-friendly entertainment to members of their communities, support scores of local businesses, employ thousands of individuals, raise and donate millions of dollars in charitable funds, bring our communities together, and create lifelong baseball fans while connecting our communities to Major League Baseball. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are one of 42 Minor League Baseball clubs in danger of losing their affiliation following the 2020 season.
