The Scrappers are entering their 20th season at Eastwood Field. Since 1999 over ninety Scrappers have made their MLB debuts. Notable alumni include C.C Sabathia, Victor Martinez, Francisco Lindor, Jason Kipnis, Josh Tomlin and Cody Allen. Since the inaugural season, Eastwood Field has played host to non-baseball events including concerts, community walks, 5K's, Youngstown State University Baseball, High School baseball games, a haunted house and more. In 2017, Eastwood Field held over 200 events throughout the year, which is the most in its existence.

The Scrappers front office is committed to providing leading edge entertainment for fans. In 2018 and beyond, major enhancements are in the forecast. Most noteworthy for the 2018 season fans will see a new video board, revamped audio, enhanced concessions experience and more.

The new video board coming to Eastwood Field for the 2018 season is 4 times larger and has 8 time more pixels than the old board. The video experience for fans will be bigger, bolder and clearer. It will utilize the latest LED illumination to provide brightness that is NOT impacted by the sun. The new video board will allow for new non-baseball events to take place at Eastwood Field including movie nights on the field. More information and dates on movie nights will be released soon.

A complete overhaul of the sound system will allow for a powerful, clear 360 degree sound experience for fans. The production room at Eastwood Field will also receive an overhaul. The Scrappers will enhance the fan experience with additional cameras and newer technology to allow for more interaction. All Scrappers home games will also be streamed to MiLB TV beginning in 2018.

The Scrappers have partnered with Stadium 1 to create a more efficient and seamless experience at the concession stand. With all new point of sale units at concession stands, credits cards will be accepted at all locations. The Stadium 1 point of sale also offers fans the ability to have loaded value tickets and gift cards valid at all food, beverage and merchandise locations.

Included in the enhanced concession experience are digital menu boards and two new portable concession stands. Digital Menu Boards will make the main concession menus easily visible. The new portables will feature a "Build a Burger" concept while the other will feature nachos and tacos. Chick Fil A will also be serving their Classic Chicken Sandwiches at Eastwood Field this year.

Additional enhancements planned beyond 2018 include a new field and irrigation, clubhouse upgrades, seating bowl and suite renovations.
