BRADENTON, Fla. - In the final game of a three game series between the Bradenton Marauders and the Fort Myers Miracle, Bligh Madris provided the late heroics on Sunday afternoon from LECOM Park. Madris' single up the middle with two outs plated Casey Hughston from second base with the game winning run to lift the home team over Fort Myers two games to one in the three game set.

For the second straight game, Tyler Gaffney got on base to lead off and came around to score the first run on a throwing error by Fort Myers shortstop Alex Perez in the first inning. Miracle catcher Taylor Grzelakowski blasted two home runs in the loss which included a solo shot in the fifth and a two run knock in the seventh for his only two home runs of the 2018 season, and the only three runs driven in by the visitors.

Bligh Madris reached base all five times he came to bat in the victory, including walking in the sixth and singling in the eighth and coming around to score on both occasions. Casey Hughston singled with one out in the bottom of the ninth with the score tied at four and advanced to second on a passed ball. Down to the last out before extra innings, Madris brought Hughston around to score to give the Marauders their 11th win on the year.
