Trunk or Treat Approaching

Free Family Event Provides Safe Trick-or-Treating Option
October 22, 2013

Bradenton, Fla. - The Pittsburgh Pirates and Bradenton Marauders hold Trunk-or-Treat at McKechnie Field on Saturday, October 26. This free trick-or-treating event is being held for the first time since the renovation of McKechnie Field last winter. The event will last from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., rain or shine. More than 1,000 trick-or-treaters have attended previous Trunk or Treats.

Trunk or Treat allows children to trick-or-treat in a safe environment, receiving candy from Halloween themed vehicle trunks. Candy won't be the only cure for a sweet tooth, as there will also be Halloween cookie decorating. Other activities scheduled include a photo booth, a haunted clubhouse, the Marauders' inflatable games, hay rides around the field, and a fire truck display. A DJ will provide music for the event.

Parking for Trunk or Treat is available at the Boys and Girls lot behind McKechnie Field, accessible from Ninth Street West. Attendees can enter through the rear gate. Parking will also be offered at Turning Points on 17th Avenue across the street from the ballpark. Attendees parking at Turning Points will enter directly into the trick-or-treating area.
