The six runs scored Wednesday night at Nelson Wolff Stadium came on four swings, each an extra-base hit.
Skye Bolt's first Double-A home run broke a scoreless tie in the sixth, but the Missions answered in the home half of the inning on Ty France's two-run triple and Austin Allen's RBI double, taking a 3-1 lead.
San Antonio added a pair of insurance runs on Michael Getty's eighth-inning two run double and went on to a 5-1 win over the RockHounds in the opener of a four-game series.
Logan Shore tossed five innings of shutout ball, allowing two hits and two walks, before the Missions got to him for the three-run sixth.
The two-run double from Getty's in the eighth changed the complexion of the game as the 'Hounds out two men on in the ninth before T.J. Weir struck Sean Murphy out to close the door.
The Missions snapped a six-game losing streak (during which they lost the first half pennant race to Corpus Christi) while the 'Hounds fell for the fourth straight game and for the eighth time in their last nine games.
Notables
Seth Brown (1-for-4, walk) extended his hit streak to 10 games (18-41, .439, with nine RBI) and is hitting hit .367 in June.
San Antonio's Austin Allen went 3-for-3 with a walk and three doubles, bringin his total to 23 two-baggers for the season, one behind the RockHounds' Sean Murphy for the Texas League lead. "Murph" is tied for third all of Minor Baseball (24 doubles) and Allen is tied for eighth in MiLB.
Since returning from (Advanced-A) Stockton, Skye Bolt (1-for-2, solo home run, two walks) has hit in four straight games. After hitting .133 in 11 games to open the season, Skye is 4-for-14 (.286) in his second stint with the 'Hounds. In addition to his first home run at the Double-A level (Thursday), he has a triple, four walks (against three strikeouts) and a stolen base (.444 OBP).
Richie Martin (1-for-5) has hit in four straight games (6-20, .300). Richie, who was hitting .214 as late May 10, is now in the league's top 10 hitters with a .319 average.
Eli White (1-for-3, two walks) lost a 21-game on-base streak on Sunday and went a combined 0-for-9 Sunday and Monday. Since then he has hit in three straight (3-for-8, two walks … on-base in 5-of-10 PA) and has reached in 24-of-26 games.  
Brett Siddall lost a four-game hit streak but reached base twice in four trips (two walks). In his last five games, Brett is 6-for-15 (.400) with three doubles, one triple, four RBI, three walks (a .500 OBP) and four strikeouts.
