Monday was "Bark in the Park" night at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, but it was the "visiting hounds" that added bite to their bark.
Seth Brown's three-run home run highlighted a four-run top of the first and Sean Murphy's line-drive two-run shot in the third built the lead to 6-0 and six runs would be the final margin of victory as the 'Hounds defeated the RoughRiders, 7-1.
Jesus Luzardo was outstanding over a five-inning start, earning the win by allowing one (unearned) run on three hits, with no walks (one hit batsman) and eight strikeouts, matching his RockHounds high.

Joseph Camacho and John Gorman went the last four innings in relief of Luzardo, allowing just two base runners (one hit and one walk) with Gorman striking out four.
Edwin Diaz had three hits for the RockHounds and drove in the final run. In four games since coming up from Stockton, he is 6-for-14 (.429) with two doubles and an RBI.
The RockHounds lead the series, 2-games-to-1, with Tuesday's finale (12:05 start) remaining.
Notables
RockHounds pitching limited Frisco to four hits (a scoring change gave the Riders five hits Sunday, rather than four, but the 'Hounds have allowed just nine hits in the last two games).
As George Carlin once said "behind every sliver lining, there's a dark cloud" - - the 'Hounds committed four errors Monday night.
After being kept off base for the third time in his last 25 games on Sunday, Seth Brown (2-for-5, HR, three RBI) drilled a three-run home run in the top of the first inning Monday night.   It was his fifth RBI "hat trick" as a member of the 'Hounds and pushed his team-leading total to 45 ribbies (tied for third in the Texas League). Seth has hits in 13-of-16 games (.310 with two home runs and 18 RBI).
Sean Murphy (1-for-4, two runs, HR, two RBI, walk) has reached base in 10 straight games (.359 with two HR and 12 RBI) and has hits in five straight 9-for-21, .429, two HR and nine RBI).   His line drive home run in the third was measured at 402 feet.
Since breaking out of a 4-for-40 (.100 in nine games) stretch, Tyler Ramirez (1-for-3, run, RBI / sac fly, walk) has now hit in five straight games (8-for-19 with five RBI).
Eli White (1-for-4, walk) has reached base in 16 straight games (.365, hits in 14 of the 16) with six doubles, two triples, one HR and 10 RBI (.438 OBP).
Richie Martin (1-for-4, run, walk) has reached base in 17-of-19 games (.375) and is hitting .368 over his last 29 games.
Mikey White (2-for-4) has hits in three straight games (4-for-11).
