2011 Promotional Schedule

GRAND CHUTE, WI - Opening Day of the 2011 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers season is getting closer.  The team's front office is not wasting time and has set up a series of guest appearances, special events, giveaways, and promotions on their calendar.

GUEST APPEARANCES:

  • Bernie Brewer: The Milwaukee Brewers Mascot will be at Time Warner Cable Field on Sunday, April 17.

  • Reggy!:  The Purple Party Dude returns to the Fox Cities to entertain with his unique brand of hijinx May 7-9.

  • Jersey Boys: Cast members from the show appearing at the Fox Valley PAC are scheduled to be at the Rattlers game on June 8.

  • Mr. Belding: Dennis Haskins, who played Principal Richard Belding in Saved By the Bell, is coming to the game on June 9 in conjunction with Educator Appreciation Night presented by School House.

  • Breakin' BBoy McCoy: A batboy like no other is coming to the game on June 12.

  • ZOOperstars!: They're back!  Harry Canary, Clammy Sosa, and other memorable characters come back to Time Warner Cable Field on June 24.

  • Denny Diamond:  The Rattlers are hosting a 70's night on August 11 and Denny Diamond, a Neil Diamond impersonator will be on hand to bring back the decade.

  • BirdZerk!: He's got quirks and he is bringing his pranks, skits, and zany antics to the game on August 12.

  • Team Ghost Riders: What is Team Ghost Riders?  Monkeys in cowboy outfits riding dogs. See it on August 25.

  • Myron Noodleman: Da Man is in the house on August 28.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

  • Halloween in May: On May 12, get out your costume and be ready for a spooky Rattlers game.

  • Salute to Cows: The Timber Rattlers pay tribute to the reason Wisconsin is called America's Dairyland on June 6.

  • Star Wars Night: The characters are back and so are the Star Wars-themed Rattlers jerseys on June 11.

  • Christmas in July:  Celebrate the Yuletide season - without the frigid temperatures - on July 16.

  • Bring Your Pup to the Park:  Bring your canine friend to the game on July 31.

  • Jimmy Buffett Night: Calling all Parrotheads! We are getting tropical on August 2.

GIVEAWAYS:

  • Scooter vs. The Snowman Bobblehead: This Timber Rattlers original is an all-fan giveaway courtesy of Time Warner Cable on Opening Night, April 7.

  • Magnet Schedule: The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a 2011 magnet scheduled from TruGreen April 7 - April 9.

  • Seat Cushion: The first 1,000 fans into Time Warner Cable Field on April 15 receive a Miller Lite seat cushion.

  • Player Poster Series: There will be 10 dates during the 2011 season for fans to receive a poster of Timber Rattlers players (4/10, 4/29, 5/10, 5/22, 6/9, 6/27, 7/6, 7/18, 8/5, and 8/24).

  • Player Magnet Series:  Lamers Bus Lines has a series of four magnets featuring former and current Rattlers (5/20, 6/24, 7/14, and 8/13).

  • Card Set: Free set of baseball cards featuring Timber Rattlers players made possible by Disabled American Veterans on July 17.

  • Baseball: The first 1,000 fans into Time Warner Cable Field on August 10 receive a Timber Rattlers baseball from Baycom.

  • Fans Choice Bobblehead: What will the bobblehead to be given away on August 29 be? Rattlers fans make the choice.

WEEKLY PROMOTIONS: ·

  • Brewers Sundays: On Sundays during the 2011 season, the Timber Rattlers will be wearing jerseys based on a classic design of their current major league affiliate.  Appearances by former Brewers players are also in the works for select Sundays this season.

  • Bang for Your Buck:  Soda, hotdogs, and beer for $1 returns for eight Tuesdays and two Wednesdays in 2011.

  • Thirsty Thursday: Fans may get 22oz soda or 16oz beer for $2 every Thursday night during this season.

  • Family Night:  Kids eat free and get to run the bases after every Friday Timber Rattlers home game.

  • Fireworks: Starting June 10 and June 11, there is a fireworks display scheduled after every Friday and Saturday home game.

Opening Day for the 2011 season is Thursday, April 7.  Season ticket packages and tickets for groups of 20 or more are available now by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or by stopping at the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
