The Indians will face off against International League South Division champion the Charlotte Knights in a best of five series beginning with game one and two on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and Thursday, Sept. 6 at Victory Field. Tickets for both contests are on sale at the regular season ticket gate prices of $15 (box), $11 (reserved) and $10 (lawn).
Flex plan vouchers and Knot Hole Kids Club passes will also be accepted, while groups of 25 or more will receive discounted playoff per seat pricing of $10 (box), $7 (reserved) and $6 (lawn). During the playoffs fans can also continue to take advantage of the Indians advanced ticket purchase discount of $1 off for all box, reserved and lawn seats when purchased before midnight the day of the game.
Fans can also enjoy the special Monday Dollar Menu pricing of $1 for hot dogs, peanuts, Cracker Jack, popcorn and potato chips at all 2012 home playoff contests.
The Indians are asking fans to support the team by wearing red throughout the playoffs. To help with this effort the first 1,000 fans to either first-round home playoff game will receive a special edition red playoff t-shirt.
Playoff tickets are available by visiting IndyIndians.com, calling the Victory Field Box Office at 317-269-2282 or visiting the Box Office at 501 W. Maryland Street. Tickets for any unplayed playoff contest will become "rain check" vouchers that can be exchanged at the Victory Field box office for a ticket to any Indians regular season home game in 2013, excluding July 4.
IL West Division Championship t-shirts and hats are always available in the Hot Corner Gift Shop and online at the MiLB.com Shop. Adult shirts are $20, youth t-shirts are available for $17 and championship hats are on sale for $19.
