66ers Add Hat Giveaway to Promo Schedule
San Bernardino, CA- With the Inland Empire 66ers baseball team poised for its first playoff appearance since 2008, the 66ers front office is celebrating by adding a giveaway to the promo schedule for the team's loyal fans. On Saturday, August 20th, a limited supply of Angels' newsboy hats will be distributed to the first fans through the gates at Arrowhead Credit Union Park.
"We want to give our fans a little something extra for the great support they've shown during a remarkable 2011 season," said Inland Empire 66ers Vice President of Marketing Kevin Shaw. "The newsboy hat was a very popular Angels' giveaway in June, and we're excited to have a chance to bring it to our fans here in the Inland Empire."
With the addition of the hat to the giveaway schedule the 66ers will be pushing back the previously scheduled Felix Hernandez bobblehead giveaway, presented by JBS Heating and Air, to a later date still to be determined.
