66ers ready for Affiliation Celebration

Inland Empire to welcome Angels dignitaries February 10th

San Bernardino, CA - With Spring Training right around the corner, the Inland Empire 66ers and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will celebrate the teams' new affiliation agreement with the fans of the Inland Empire on Thursday, February 10th, at Arrowhead Credit Union Park.

The festivities start at Noon, and the event is open to the public, with gates opening at 11:30. Angels Manager Mike Scioscia, General Manager Tony Reagins, Team President John Carpino, Director of Player Development Abe Flores and the 66ers new Manager for 2011, Tom Gamboa will be at this landmark event for Inland Empire 66ers baseball.

Fans in attendance will receive a free lunch consisting of hot dogs, chips and a drink, have an opportunity to see their questions for the Angels brass asked and answered at the event, and enjoy a VIP Stadium tour of Arrowhead Credit Union Park.

The Inland Empire 66ers 2011 season begins on Thursday, April 7th when the California League partners of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim host the rival Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
