A charismatic Butler, who was presented his official No. 2 jersey at the event, captivated the crowd with stories from his 17-year Major League playing career, and inspired the audience with his vision of Triple-A baseball in the Reno-Sparks area.

Butler was joined by Pacific Coast League President Branch B. Rickey, who conveyed a sense of passion, excitement and enthusiasm about the league's newest franchise.

The Reno Aces Baseball Club, Triple-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, was purchased in 2007 by SK Baseball, led by Managing Partner Stuart Katzoff. The club's downtown ballpark will be the centerpiece of an exciting Freight House District that includes retail, dining and nightlife venues.
