Aces Foundation, JAKKS Pacific to Donate 5,000 Additional Toys

RENO, Nev.–The Reno Aces Foundation, in partnership with leading US toy company JAKKS Pacific, Inc. will distribute an additional 5,000 toys for the holidays, following a donation of 15,000 toys last August.

Toys for Tots will be the beneficiary of 3,000 of the toys, with 1,500 going to each of two local drives spearheaded by Dolan Automotive Group - Reno Toyota and KTVN Channel 2 News. Toys given to Dolan Automotive Group will go toward the group's "Camp Christmas" festivities, set to take place at Reno Toyota on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Washoe County School District's "Children in Transition" program will receive 2,000 of the toys to benefit deserving children throughout Washoe schools.

"I am very happy to announce we have been able to extend our partnership with JAKKS Pacific to provide toys for children in the Northern Nevada area this holiday season," said Stuart Katzoff, President and Managing Partner of the Reno Aces.

The Reno Aces Foundation, the nonprofit division of Northern Nevada's first Triple-A Baseball franchise, seeks to use professional baseball as a vehicle for making a positive impact within the communities that comprise Northern Nevada and the surrounding region. The foundation focuses its efforts on supporting youth and family initiatives. Through providing unique experiences, underwriting unmet expenses and using professional baseball as a channel to accomplish greater goals, the Reno Aces Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people throughout the region.
