For Immediate Release
April 16, 2012

RENO, Nev.– The Reno Aces Baseball Club today will launch The Club, a new program that rewards fans for game attendance and social media posts about the ballclub, and will reward lucky fans with the opportunity to win game-worn jerseys, 2013 Triple-A All-Star Game tickets, and 2013 Aces season tickets.

Fans can sign up for The Club at www.renoacesrewards.com beginning today.

Participating fans will be able to earn points for checking in at the ballpark on Foursquare, liking the Aces' posts on Facebook, and re-tweeting the Aces or using special hashtags on Twitter. Fans will also earn points for posting photos from Aces Ballpark to the photo-sharing site CrowdCameo.

"Fans' chances of winning will be weighted by their point totals; in other words, the more points you earn, the better your chances are of winning," said Brett McGinness, Director of Marketing for the Reno Aces.

At the end of each homestand, one lucky fan will win a game-worn Aces jersey. At the All-Star Break, one fan will win tickets to the 2013 Triple-A All-Star Game and the 2013 Triple-A Home Run Derby, to be held in Reno next summer. At the end of the season, one lucky fan will win four Infield Reserved season tickets for the 2013 season, including tickets to the All-Star festivities. Fans will also have the chance to win seat upgrades, player-autographed items and other prizes throughout the season.

"Right now, The Club is based in social media—Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare—but we hope to add new features and incentives as we move forward," said McGinness.

The Club is a collaboration between the Aces and row27 Studios, and is the first program of its kind in baseball, either MLB or Minor League.

The Reno Aces host the Sacramento River Cats Saturday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 24. Tickets are on-sale now at RenoAces.com, by calling (775) 334-7000 or by visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
