Aces Unveil 2013 Schedule

RENO, Nev.– A visit from interstate rival Sacramento in the home opener, 16 games against the San Francisco Giants' top affiliate and a full slate of action surrounding the Triple-A All-Star Game highlight the Reno Aces 2013 schedule, the club announced today.

Reno will open the 2013 season on the road, taking-on a pair Pacific North Division foes in Colorado Springs and Salt Lake beginning on Thursday, April 4. The club will make its 2013 Aces Ballpark debut on Friday, April 12, as it plays host to the Sacramento River Cats.

The 2013 slate will also feature the return to Reno for several American Conference foes, including the Iowa Cubs, Omaha Storm Chasers, Memphis Redbirds and Nashville Sounds.

After playing 20 home games in the month of June, they eyes of the baseball world will turn to Downtown Reno in July, as the top Triple-A players from around the country will converge in Northern Nevada for the 2013 Triple-A All-Star Game. The annual Triple-A Home Run Derby is set for Monday, July 15, and the Triple-A All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, July 17. More details on the All-Star Game and its accompanying events will be released in the coming months.

Start times for all Aces home games will be released in the offseason.

The Aces finish-up the regular-season slate this afternoon at Aces Ballpark. The Pacific Conference Championship Series begins Wednesday in Sacramento, before moving to Reno for Game 3 on Friday.
