AquaSox Set to Go Green, Welcome Guests

EVERETT, Wash.- The AquaSox return home for a very important six game homestand against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes and the Eugene Emeralds. As the AquaSox find themselves in the middle of the playoff hunt, the next homestand is packed with giveaways, celebrity appearances, fireworks and more!

The homestand kicks off on Thursday, August 20 with Football Night in Everett. Fans will be able to welcome in the beginning of football season while they take in a baseball game! Thursday's game will also feature a hat voucher giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, presented by Team Saturn NW.

Friday, August 21 will be a special night as the AquaSox "Go Green". The first 1,000 fans will receive a special AquaSox Recycled Tote Bag, presented by Haggen Food & Pharmacy. To cap off the night of celebrating the environment, Postgame Fireworks will light up the sky!

All of the young AquaSox fans are in luck on Saturday, August 22 as Dora the Explorer will make a special appearance! Saturday's game will also feature an AquaSox Youth Jersey Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans 14 & under, presented by Comcast.

Everett Memorial will have another special visitor on Sunday August 23, as Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry will be in attendance and available for autographs on the concourse from 4-6 p.m. on Mariner's Day! Sunday's game will feature special Seattle Mariners Giveaway Items to the first 1,000 fans, presented by the Seattle Mariners.

The AquaSox will hit the road for three short games before they return on August 29 to cap off what has truly been a memorable 2009 season.
