Rockies prospect grabs share of AFL lead with nine RBIs

Rockies No. 4 prospect Nolan Arenado went 3-for-4 with five RBIs for the Rafters, tying him for the Arizona Fall League lead with nine RBIs in five games. He topped the Minors with 122 RBIs at Class A Advanced Modesto this season. Alex Castellanos (Dodgers) and Adam Eaton (Padres) combined to go 5-for-7 with a double, three walks and seven runs scored for Salt River. Surprise 5, Phoenix 3
Braves prospect Joey Terdoslavich, who broke the 65-year-old Carolina League record for doubles this season, tripled, doubled and drove in four runs for the Saguaros. First-round pick Mikie Mahtook drove in Surprise's other run with a single, while fellow Rays prospect Marquis Fleming earned the win with two innings of scoreless relief. Peoria 6, Mesa 2
Mariners top prospect Nick Franklin launched a two-run homer on the first pitch he saw and Juan Lagares (Mets) hit one of his own three innings later for the Javelinas. Brewers prospects Scooter Gennett and Kentrail Davis also enjoyed strong days at the plate, going 5-for-8 with a pair of runs scored. Junior Lake had half of Mesa's four hits.
