Usually baseball bats are meant to inflict pain on baseballs, not people. Well, the Florida Professional Wrestling Association (FPWA) asks the simple question, "Why can't it be both?"

On July 14th the FPWA will be putting together a live show at Knology Park after the Dunedin Blue Jays match up against the Sarasota Reds. There will be at least 4 matches during the show, including a 10-man "BaseBrawl" Elimination match, where each wrestler will be utilizing a "baseball-themed weapon". The other matches set to take place include the FPWA Tag Team Title Match and cruiserweight showdowns.

Tickets are only $5 and they include general admission to both the Dunedin Blue Jays game and the FPWA show, which will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Special group rates, luxury suites, and all you can eat BBQ packages are available as well. For more information call Jerry Garland at 727-733-9302.

The FPWA puts on family oriented shows once a month. Between shows all the wrestlers, who take their jobs very seriously, train 4-6 times a week in order to put on the highest quality performance in the ring come show-time. Their main venue for their shows as the Boys and Girls Club of Pinellas.

Some well-known wrestlers in the organization include the Black Knight, Seal, and nephew of legendary Terry 'The Hulk' Hogan, Ben Hogan.
