May 19, 2010

MOBILE, Ala. - At Wednesday's Pepsi Media Luncheon, the Mobile BayBears Professional Baseball Club announced an expansion to their partnership with Dreamland BBQ, marking the addition of Dreamland products to the concession stands of Hank Aaron Stadium.

"We are very excited about our partnering with the Mobile BayBears," said Dreamland CEO Betsy McAtee. "We've partnered with the BayBears for several years now, but this takes our partnership to a new level."

Beginning on Wednesday, May 26 when the BayBears start a five-game homestand against the Mississippi Braves, Dreamland BBQ Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken Sandwiches will be available at the Budweiser American Ale Grille on the stadium's third base side.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with Dreamland BBQ," said Kyle Schoonover, BayBears Assistant General Manager of Concessions. "Being able to add Dreamland's tradition and reputation to our concession stands improves on the already outstanding services we provide our fans."

Dreamland BBQ has been a staple of the community in Mobile since 1995 with their location at 3314 Old Shell Road.

"The history of the BayBears in Mobile plus our long history of being in Mobile makes these two entities very unique brands." McAtee said. "Being able to partner with the BayBears is mutually beneficial to both of us."
