Former Major League pitcher will be sales account executive
February 15, 2013
FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Hudson Valley Renegades senior vice president & general manager, Eben Yager, announced the addition of former Major League pitcher, Rob Bell, to the front office staff. Bell will serve as a sales account executive for the organization.

A native of Marlboro, N.Y., Bell returns to the Hudson Valley after a 14-year career in professional baseball, which included a seven-year run at the Major League level. Bell was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the third round of the June 1995 First-Year Player Draft and went on to play for seven other Major League clubs, the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals and Tampa Bay Rays.

"We are thrilled to have Rob join our team," Yager said. "His extensive career in baseball has provided him with a solid foundation that will enable him to be successful within our front office."

Bell is excited to be extending his career past the playing field and into the front office. He has experience working with numerous charitable organizations and outreach programs, such as the Major League Players Association Players Trust, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity and Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids.
