Bisons Host Yanks For Final Game
This is the Last Opportunity This Summer for fans to experience the best sports and family entertainment experience and value by taking in a Bisons' game at Dunn Tire Park. After Thursday, the team will finish up the 2008 season with four games on the road.
The Bisons will send the "Year of the Bisons Fan" off in style with three great promotions. Tuesday, August 26 will be Back to School Night with a Lunch Cooler Bag Giveaway to the first 4,000 fans, presented by New York's 529 College Savings Program. Bring the kids out for one last game and enjoy a post-game Pyrotechnics Display, presented by HSBC Bank USA, N.A. Special recognition will also be given to what will be the 1,500th Regular Season Game at Dunn Tire Park.
Wednesday night will be the team's annual Fan Appreciation Night. Quickly becoming a year-end must-see tradition, this night will cap out a season of giving during "The Year of the Bisons Fans." First, the team has added a pre-game Plaza Party at 5:00 p.m. with live music from Jackdaw and $3 Specials on hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian Sausage and 16 oz. draft beer. The team will also hand out their End of Season Awards in a pre-game ceremony. During the game, there will be great giveaways after every inning break with grand prizes including a Whirlpool Washer/Dryer Set, donated by Orville's Home Appliances, a Nintendo Wii Entertainment System, FREE Gas Cards and MORE! When all the prizes have been given out, the team will set off their Second Largest Fireworks Show of the season.
Thursday will be the perfect chance for fans to skip out of work one last time for an afternoon of baseball. A 1:05 p.m. start with some Baseball Bingo, presented by Business First and Go Green with National Fuel, VIVA Towels and Kleenex and Wegmans Back to School Celebration, will close out another great season at Dunn Tire Park.
This homestand will also be Bisons fans' Last Chance win $10,000 in the Back-to-Back Home Run Challenge. If the first two Bisons home runs over the fence are hit in back-to-back plate appearances, only luck fan in attendance will be able to claim a $10,000 prize as part of "The Year of the Bisons Fan."
