BlueClaws, Atlantic PT Start 'Restore the Shore' Fundraiser

Wear special t-shirt once a week to collect and raise money through Memorial Day
November 8, 2012
LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws and Atlantic Physical Therapy Center are partnering with Restore the Shore Projects on Restore The Shore Fridays leading into Memorial Day and the unofficial summer kickoff.

Participating businesses can order shirts for their employees online by clicking here.

Employees are encouraged to wear these shirts to work every Friday until Memorial Day.

Each employee that wears the shirt is asked to make at least a $1 donation. These donations will be matched by employers. All donations will go towards BlueClaws Charities.

Then, when Memorial Day weekend arrives, a huge donation will be made to a dedicated organization.

"The Jersey Shore, our home, obviously took serious damage through Sandy," said Dave Manzo, owner of Atlantic Physical Therapy Center. "We hope this catches on, not just with employers all around the area, but also with area residents who want to do their part to help."

Added BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown: "When Dave came to us with this great idea, we jumped at the chance to participate. The BlueClaws and BlueClaws Charities are honored to help 'Restore the Shore Projects.'"

"We were thrilled when Dave and Geoff wanted to join our cause," said Rob Sickel, Co-Founder of ERGO Clothing. "Restore the Shore Friday's makes it easy to help a great cause!"

Individual Participation: Individuals that would like to participate in the program outside of their employer can do so by ordering the t-shirt by clicking here and making an individual donation online by clicking here.

More information can be found at Facebook.com/RestoreTheShoreProjects. Interested businesses can learn more information through Dave Manzo of Atlantic Physical Therapy Center at [email protected] or order shirts at the link above.
