Baseball's top pitching prospect Archie Bradley did not disappoint in his Cactus League debut Monday. After his first start was pushed back due to rain, the right-hander fanned six batters over three frames as the D-backs beat Colorado's split-squad team. Bradley allowed one hit and he issued two walks in facing three batters over the maximum in three innings. He worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the second and consistently hit the low- to mid-90s with his fastball.

Selected by the Rockies third overall in June's Draft out of the University of Oklahoma, Jon Gray worked two scoreless innings in his Spring Training debut. The right-hander stranded runners on first and second base in the seventh inning and he worked around a two-out single in the eighth frame to complete his Cactus League outing. He reached the mid-90s with his fastball and threw 24 of 37 pitches for strikes, fanning two batters.
