Colby Rasmus homered and doubled and Jarrett Hoffpauir had three RBIs as the visiting Redbirds beat the Nashville Sounds, 8-1. St. Louis left-hander Mark Mulder was scratched from his scheduled start with back stiffness. Clayton Mortensen allowed one unearned run on seven hits over 7 2/3 innings to pick up the win. Box
