Watch the free preview of MiLB.TV this weekend and catch select exhibition games between Minor League teams and their Major League parent clubs.
Beginning Friday, March 28, fans can see the Reds, White Sox, Cardinals, Braves and Rays warm up for Opening Day games at Minor League ballparks, and it's all being shown free of charge on MiLB.TV.
On Friday, the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos take on the Reds, while their Southern League rivals, the Double-A Birmingham Barons, host the Chicago White Sox at 7 p.m. ET. The St. Louis Cardinals will also visit their Triple-A affiliate, the Memphis Redbirds, at 8:05 p.m. ET.
Fans can then tune in again on Saturday for coverage of the Tampa Bay Rays taking on the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits and a team of Atlanta Braves prospects hosting the big league Braves from Atlanta's Class A affiliate's ballpark in Rome, Ga.
The free preview weekend will only be available on web browsers, but fans can expect to watch more than 4,500 Minor League games this season on both their computers and iOS devices. Beginning April 3, MiLB.TV will broadcast games involving affiliates of all 30 Major League clubs, plus home games from all 30 Triple-A teams and 22 Double-A clubs.
Fans will also be able to see select games from other classifications, four All-Star games, the Triple-A National Championship Game and select postseason contests. All the action will be available for your computer and via the MiLB First Pitch app for iPhone and iPod touch.
You can subscribe for the full season for just $49.99, or about a penny a game. That's your best value, but you can also sign up for one month of MiLB.TV for $12.99.
