Chiefs and IronPigs' series finale postponed

Game will be made up as part of July 29 doubleheader

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs were postponed on Tuesday due to rain. The game will be made up on Sunday, July 29 as part of a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 PM at Alliance Bank Stadium.

Tuesday's Education Day festivities will not be rescheduled.

However, fans who purchased tickets for Tuesday's game (as well as all students, teachers, and administrators who were scheduled to attend Education Day) can redeem their ticket at the Chiefs ticket office for a ticket of equal or lesser value for any Chiefs home game within one year from the date of the rainout. Season ticket holders and suite holders should refer to the back of their tickets for the season ticket and suite policy. After an off day on Wednesday, the Chiefs begin a four-game series with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Alliance Bank Stadium.
