Chiefs and Mud Hens rained out

Doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday

Tuesday's game between the Syracuse Chiefs and Toledo Mud Hens was postponed due to rain. The teams were scheduled to play at 6:00 p.m. The game will be played Wednesday as part of a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. at Alliance Bank Stadium. Both games will be seven innings.

Chiefs righthander J.D. Martin was scheduled to pitch Tuesday against Toledo lefty Charlie Furbush. They will battle tomorrow in the first game.

Fans who purchased tickets for today's game can redeem their ticket stub at tomorrow's game or any other 2011 regular season home game. Season ticket holders should check the back of their ticket for the unused season ticket policy. Gates will open at 4:30 for Wednesday's doubleheader and ticketholders can use one ticket for both games.
