Chiefs, Bisons rained out in Buffalo on Sunday

Teams will play Monday doubleheader in Syracuse
August 5, 2012
The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Buffalo Bisons were postponed on Sunday afternoon due to heavy rain in Buffalo.

The teams will make up Sunday's game as part of a doubleheader in Syracuse on Monday beginning at 5:00pm. The game will be made up in Syracuse as the Chiefs are not scheduled to return to Buffalo this season.

One ticket will be valid for admission to both games on Monday.

Syracuse's scheduled starting pitchers for the twin bill are left-hander Zach Duke and right-hander Erik Arnesen. The Bisons are slated to counter with southpaw Zack Wheeler and right-hander Jenrry Mejia.

Monday night's doubleheader will be part of the Chiefs' Latino Night celebration. Roberto Clemente, Jr. and Bob Nandin will be on hand for Time Warner Cable Sports for a special Spanish-language TV broadcast.
